Hi All,
Anybody got experience of a good in-car video camera ? I have seen that the GoPro units seem to be used - any others or are these the best value? If so what model ?
Thanks

Blimey...£160 for the GoPro HD is fantastic value....might have to buy another one ;D. Having siad that, I'd go for the Hero 2 if I was buying again. You could always buy 2 standard HD cameras with the 3D kit.. gopro.com/hd-hero-accessories/3d-hero-system/The only real competition to the GoPro at this pricepoint is the Contour contour.com/products but when you consider that the BBC uses the GoPro extensively its an easy choice, especially at £160. If you go for a single unit I'd also recommend the LCD screen for set-up and playback purposes. I saw Ade's (Jetpower) at Curborough last year and bought one shortly after.

Many thanks.
GoPro it is then. Will have a look around. Just got a Samsung 10:1 tablet so should be an easy download and viewable on the day for a giggle

i raced with gopro hd's on the bike mate and they were very good, and simple to use too. only problem with any cam on a vehicle is wind noise. cheaper cams wont refresh as quick whilst writing to the card so gives poor quality, also dogcam and cam46 do a decent multi system, if you want hardwired in.

Hi, I just (yesterday) got a GoPro Hero HD Motorsport (not Hero2) for my birthday - Thanks Sheri - Very very pleased with it, just ordered the roll bar mount from Amazon as soon as it arrives ill be out taking some vids! I've done a couple of test vids - the quality is excellent. It'll be interesting to see how it handles the road/engine vibrations when mounted to the Rocket.. cheers, Ol

I'm a big fan of the GoPro. Easy to use and great video. For mounting, I've had great success with the Flymount - its 2-3 times better/more stable than the standard GoPro-designed roll bar mount they offer.

The full HD video footage from the gopro Hero 2 is outstanding. And the added bonus of connecting 2 together for 3D HD video Is a real bonus if you have to cash for it.
My letter has already gone off to Santa, don't know if I've been good Enough thou ??

Hi Jon
It does seem cheap but before you buy It I would message the seller as I feel it may be a typo. If it is correct let me know ??
