Fantastic camera work Nige, I am glad you captured that as I had no idea what it looked like from outside, the guys were brilliant, I had no idea how it was going to tun out, clearly it went very well and looked very slick, many thanks to all the helpers. Samer again in the morning!!!!!!!! I have just a few hours to sleep b4 Jules picks me up to drive back to Stoeleighfor anothe hectic day. We did sell 7 today and I was extremely pleased to welcome people to the MEV world. I was very proud!!!!!
a great show, highlight was the excellent choice of tunes for the exocet jigsaw build. luke, you're fired! bear in mind that the blue exocet has its suspension propped to make the demo work, so its higher at the front than it would normally be. interesting to hear that the basic exocet now has the lighter guage tubing and a single rear prop to 'm' bar - interested to know if basic model includes side pods and aero rear arches - probably not new superlight looked great. my brother, who isnt a car nut, said he thought that "if you make a kit car you want to see all the suspension and stuff, so exocet is better"...!
i think that pictures of cars standing in a field don't do the cars full justice. these cars look amazing in the flesh. great to see mev doing something different from the hundreds of 7 clones
;D Well wha a brilliant weekend at Stoneleigh so nice to meet with all the other builders and great fun doing the exocet build loads of times shame the weather got a bit poor on Mon but still had a good time thanks again, too many people to name see you all at Newark dont miss it and dont be late or you might not get on the mev site (ask Matt !!) now no longer exclusive but a popular and busy group
Can anybody tell me who the owner of the orange Exocet (with no mud gaurds) in the above pictures is. That is one fine looking Exocet. Please PM me. Cheers.
The pics look great, and the 4-minute build demo Shame we couldn't make it, but with Saturday at Brooklands and Sunday at Rockingham we needed a car-free rest on the Monday!
airforceone: Always wanted one, just wasn't sure I had the knowledge to jump straight in at that level hence the rocket. More Than happy to give it a go now. Next Years Project possibly.

tlight: Just so everyone is aware, Nigel maintains this page on behalf of the MEV OWNERS, not on behalf of the company. He does it in his own, precious time. He could take offence..... (Just sayin')

airforceone: I've been using Firefox and still having issues with the pages locking up. Not as bad now as it was when the new site went live so hopefully it will improve the longer it's running.
